Why we do...
As a current or soon-to-be high school graduate, your life is about to change. In the next few years you will be faced with important decisions and luring temptations that come as a result of independence and peer pressure.
It might surprise you to know that one in four students who enroll in a four-year public or private college will drop out in the first year. Also in the first year 44% of students will drink alcohol and experience adverse emotional problems. Studies have even revealed that more than 80% of Christian young people turn away from God during their college years. Many college freshmen simply are not ready spiritually or emotionally for the challenges that they are about to encounter.
Having direction for your future is vital and college is important. Yet many of today’s young people are influenced in their decisions concerning their future by peer pressure and our culture. Now is the time to focus on developing Godly character and leadership skills that will propel you into a future full of victories and blessings. Christian Ministries Leaders Academy offers you an opportunity to prepare yourself for the challenges that are unique to your generation and to be immersed in the most incredible transforming experience of your life.
What we do...
We are committed to motivating the next generation to passionately pursue Jesus Christ and to equip them with the life skills necessary to reach their full potential in Christ.
Christian Ministries Leaders Academy is designed to teach this culture how to take God’s Word and apply it to their everyday lives so that they can achieve the victories that God has for them.
A challenging and captivating academic life with a real hands-on ministry internship will enable these students to develop and discover their God-given talents and gifts.
There will be intense study, engaging worship, fun fellowship, and just the right amount of play. CMLA not only teaches in the classroom, but provides this generation the opportunity to “experience” what is being learned, rather than just contemplate it.
At Christian Ministries Leaders Academy we develop Faith, Integrity, Relationships, Vision and Excellence in our students.
of the word,
and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."
– James 1:22
"The mission of Christian Ministries Leaders Academy is to provide an environment where the development of the whole person is made possible as interns learn to apply the Word of God to their daily lives."
Leaders Academy falls under the cover of Christian Ministries Church.
Christian Ministries Church is a non-denominational Church focused on making disciples by teaching the Word of God and equipping the body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission. CMC does this by creating a church atmosphere where all individuals and families can grow in faith and discover God’s plan for their lives. CMC’s primary focus is educating believers. We accomplish this through the local church (CMC), Christian Ministries Academy (K-12th grade Christian school), Byler Ranch Summer Camp (ages 9-14), and Christian Ministries Leaders Academy.
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. Salvation has been provided and is available for all people through Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we can die to our sinful nature and be born again to a new life of purity and power.
Water Baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him. He provides the power to live a sanctified and holy life, and to be effective in service to God.
The Priesthood of the Believer: We believe that every believer has a unique relationship with the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry (1 Peter 2:9).
Discipleship: We believe that discipleship is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go and make disciples in all the earth. We believe that each person is responsible to first disciple their own family, then their community, and then the world, as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability. (Matthew 28:18-20)
